Three-Day Consultative Workshop on Country-Level Assessment of the Governance Framework for National Identity and Digital Public Infrastructure in Somalia

Objectives:
1) Inform to-date achievements in implementation of national legal identity, including the Somali National Identity System (SNID), and next steps towards legal identity for all.

2) Discuss elements of NIRA’s core principles (inclusion, accessible, non-discriminating, flexible and privacy) and their operationalization.

3) To collate perspectives, insights, suggestions, specify use cases and recommendations in the area of digital legal identity, through collaborative frameworks, contributing to the implementation of the national transformation plan (NTP)
